On Saturday Nov 9th, we successfully hosted our first session of RoboBridge, our biweekly program designed to provide adaptive robotics education and creative activities for students with special needs. The event was attended by 10 students, each paired with a dedicated volunteer teacher for one-on-one guidance.
Activities and Stations
The session featured a diverse range of engaging stations, including:
- Logic Games: Strengthening problem-solving and critical thinking.
- Digital Arts: Unleashing creativity through technology-based art tools.
- Oil Painting: Exploring traditional art forms in a calming, hands-on activity.
- LEGO EV3 and VEX Robotics (GO & IQ): Introducing students to building and programming robotics systems.
- Coding Games: Developing foundational programming skills through interactive play.
Each station was designed to cater to individual needs and interests, ensuring an inclusive and stimulating environment. The event received high praise from parents of participating students. Key feedback included:
- Parents found the event highly engaging and appreciated the unique opportunity for their children to explore robotics-related activities, many of which they had never experienced before.
- Students thoroughly enjoyed the program, expressing excitement and curiosity throughout the day.
